Well sweetie, your 1st Christmas has come and gone. It's sad how fast things fly by :( I wish I could have stretched the day out and made it a few more hours. We had such a great time with you!
On Christmas Eve your Auntie Nea Nea and Dylan spent the night. After you woke up the 2nd time Christmas morning Auntie went in and saved you :)

We went and checked out the tree to see what Santa brought you...

And once Grandma and Grandpa showed up we started opening presents! You weren't quite sure what all the commotion was about, but you enjoyed tearing/eating the wrapping paper.

Auntie Brandy got you this adorable giraffe. It is so soft and floppy and I know you're going to spend many years with it!

A rare picture of you, Mommy, & Daddy! I'm usually the one taking the pictures!!

I think this was your favorite toy of the day! Who would have known a set of fake keys would appease you so much. Good job Auntie Nea Nea!

This picture just makes me laugh! Grandma and Grandpa found a Longhorn bag for Daddy that plays the alma matter song. Daddy LOVES that song because he made up a song for you that's modeled after it :) So...he sang it to you that morning and you just giggled and giggled.

Here are Daddy's lyrics:
The eyes of Daddy are upon you,
All the live long day.
The eyes of Daddy are upon you,
You can not get away.
Do not think you can escape them,
At night, or early in the morn'.
The eyes of Daddy are upon you,
Till Mommy blows her horn!
You had no interest in looking at the camera (you couldn't take your eyes off of all your presents! haha!), but here you are with Grandma & Grandpa...

And I tried to find a picture that shows off your hilarious PJ's. The saying couldn't be more true. Well...I guess the only thing that would make it better is if it said Grandma and Grandpa.
"What Santa Doesn't Bring Me Grandma Will"

You got some building blocks from Santa, so Daddy decided to build you a jail. It didn't quite contain you though. You're quite the destructive little kiddo :)

We had a great Christmas morning with you baby girl! Having you hear for Christmas brought a whole new meaning to it! We love you bunches and can't wait to celebrate many more Christmas mornings with you!
