Soccer Star!

This morning I got an email from UK Elite and there was your cute and sassy self in a picture with Leighton and Katie.

Over the summer you attended a week long soccer camp. You 3 were the youngest there and you girls rocked it. It was long and it was blistering hot. You didn't complain at all (your parents on the other hand whined the whole time! haha!). You got out there and you worked hard. We were so proud of you!

It was so awesome to see this adorable picture of you and your best friends in their advertisement!

Mommy Daughter Date

We went out for a Mommy/Daughter date with Wendy & Leighton. Build a Bear came out with the Disney Princess line, so it was time for us to follow through on your girls night out we promised over the summer. Yeah... We're a little late ;)
You girls had a great time! You both chose to make Cinderella, but picked out different shoes. The shoes were a very important decision for Leighton. We all got a few giggles out of all the options she was considering. You girls always keep us laughing. After your bears were made we went upstairs for dinner and a carousel ride. I'm so glad we have friends we can do this fun stuff with. Memories in the making! I love you precious monkey!!!

Let's go Wild Things!

 We spent another Saturday morning at the soccer fields. It's so fun to watch you girls play. Sometimes Mama gets a little crazy on the sidelines and cheers REALLY loud! Sometimes you actually listen. Sometimes, not so much!

 

On our way out of the building we ran in to Katie. As usual, you girls needed to chat and play a bit before we left. You two can be so silly together sometimes!

 

Princess overload...

You are addicted to princesses right now. You liked them before our trip to Disney World, but you are beyond obsessed with them now that we are home. Your Daddy built you the coolest dress up center for you and you LOVE it. Every single day you get dresses up as one of the many princesses you have a dress for. And the dress isn't enough. You have to have the matching shoes, tiara and ring on. You keep me laughing, kiddo!

Now that you guys don't go to school together you rarely see each other. You were so excited when you found out we were meeting him for dinner! You two are way too cute together ;)

Your idea of a uniform...

You pretty much hate uniforms. We try and convince you that they're cool, but you're not buying it! You do everything you can to change it up. The only thing in this outfit you're supposed to be wearing is the dress. The rest... You're pushing the limits.

School...

You're very into two things right now when it comes to school; taking a stuffed animal with you every day and drawing rainbows and hearts!

Well hello there, 2013...

We spent New Years Day over at Nannie & Papa's as usual. Nannie always makes sure we start the year eating cabbage rolls We've been doing it since I was a kid. I guess one day I'll have to learn how to make them, so I can carry on the tradition. When you were younger you'd eat them - today you opted for chicken, beans and rice! We can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for you. Mommy loves you to the moon and back!

Farewell 2012

I can't believe it's 2013 already. 2012 just flew by! We had to live in an apartment for a few months while they wrapped up building the house. You turned 4. We moved into our new house and boy were you excited! Your Auntie Brandy came to visit from Cali. You started a new school. You were in your 2nd dance recital - tap dancing to Beautiful Doll. You played your 4th season of soccer. You went to Disney World. It was a crazy busy year. Hoping this year is a little more mellow!
