I didn't get much sleep the night before because I was so excited to meet Mackenzie. I was nervous that they had to move up my c-section, but I had faith in Dr. Garner and knew he would get her here safely! And he did! Mackenzie Diane graced us with her presence on 3/12/08 at 9:39 AM. She was 6 lbs 12 oz and 18 1/4 inches long. The surgery went great and they had us back in our room bonding within no time at all. I never realized how much my life would revolve around her from that minute forward.
I think your Dad was surprised with the feelings of
love he had for you. He knew he would adore you, but I don't think he realized just how much. You are his baby girl and he's already so protective over you.
Your Grandparents were all there for your birth and they were so excited to meet you. I bet if I let them they probably would have been in the delivery room with us! They were all waiting at the window for Daddy to show you off :)I love you sweetie and I'm so proud to be your Mom!
