Valentine's Day party

I wasn't sure you'd actually get to make it to school today! The weather has been crazy lately and the ground was covered in snow. Wendy and I talked and decided it was your Valentine's party at school and you girls should be there. If anything you and Leighton would have a fun day at school with your teacher's undivided attention. hee hee!

Wow! Where does the time go? Today we met up with Chera to take your 2 yr photos. I really can't believe you are almost 2 years old. It doesn't seem possible!

It was soooo super cold today, but you were still such a trooper! Chera shot as fast as possible and as soon as she thought she had some decent pics we stopped. You were ice cold and you






After we were done we bundled you up and let you play on the train and have a sucker (an organic/gluten free one of course...haha!).

So...we went shopping and out to dinner with Grampa. We stopped in the Disney store because you spotted Minnie in the window. Grampa is pretty obsessed with ducks, so he wanted to get you Donald Duck. He let you get Minnie Mouse also. You insisted on taking them to bed with you and you wanted one on each side of you ;)

(Excuse the cell phone pictures. I didn't manage to take a single picture with my camera when all of these things were going on today. Boo!)

Then when you woke up the next morning you wanted to take Donald with us. You were insistent that he have his seatbelt on when we went to Target with Nannie. You are such a silly girl!

A day at the zoo...

Today we spent the day at the zoo with our friends. It was a perfect day to be outside playing. You had such a good time! You did 2 new things today... 1) You decided you weren't scared of the slide anymore and 2) You fed the birdies (which you absolutely loved!). OH! And you had ice cream. Wow...It was a big day for you :)

You really enjoyed feeding the birds so much. There was not one ounce of fear there. I was actually pretty surprised by that. When it was time to stop feeding them you were so upset! You kept giving me the stink eye while you ate your ice cream. I think you thought I was going to take it away from you! haha!

I totally forgot to take my camera to Josh's birthday playdate, but thankfully there were other people there with cameras. You think you hit the jackpot every time you see cupcakes. I couldn't even get you to eat your lunch because you were so focused on that cupcake tier. haha! What cracks me up the most is how you eat the cupcake ;) You are such a silly girl!

And I had to include this picture because it totally makes me laugh! You were sharing your raisins with Gabriel and I guess you decided that you needed to feed them to him. Well...that turned in to you cramming them in his mouth! You're such a silly kid!

Happy birthday Emmawyn! I can't believe you're 2!! It seems like just yesterday you were 6 months old. You guys are growing up way too fast :*( I'm still waiting on pics from Auntie Lisa, but here are some of the ones Sarah sent me. You guys had soooo much fun in the ball pit. I don't think you played with/in anything else through the whole party. Good call, Lisa ;)

Donuts with Dad!!!

Today was Donuts with Dad at Preschool. You were so excited to go to school with Daddy. I'm not sure you realized I wasn't going with you until it was too late! haha! So...I sent you off to school with your Dad and told him to try and limit how much of the donut you ate. I mean, lets be serious here. It's 100% filled with things you aren't supposed to be eating ;) As your Dad walked out the door I'm sure he was laughing at me. He's the cool one. Rules are far too restrictive for him ;)

Your first day of church

We were invited to go to church today with the Russell's. I knew it would be a great opportunity because you would be in Sunday School with Leighton. I figured you would do better with a familiar face ;) You were very excited when I told you were were going to see "Tayton" & "Bubba". You were dancing around our room!


You did pretty good when we got there. You cried when I left you and I was a little concerned that I would be getting called back to come get you. That didn't happen though ;) Your teachers said you were upset for about 5/10 mins and then you had a blast playing with all the other kids.


Then it was time for a new adventure. You've always taken a bath in your blow up ducky bathtub or in the shower with me. For the past 6 or so months all you've done is take showers. We decided to put you in the bathtub tonight and see what you thought of it. You LOVED it and you keep asking to take baths in there! haha!
